Classics

Espresso Espresso
A shot of 30-35ml of espresso with a golden crema on the surface.
Brewing time for an espresso shoud be around 30 seconds.
 
Cappuccino Cappuccino
1/3 espresso, 1/3 steamed milk, 1/3 milk foam.
Optional: sprinkle chocolate powder on top.

It should be served in a warm cup that can be held in the hand and consumed immediately without any pain.
The ideal milk temperature should be arounf 65 degree Celsius
 
Macchiato Macchiato
This is an espresso with a dash of milk at the top.

In the Italian tradition there are two variants of macchiato: "caldo" or "freddo". Macchiato caldo is obtained by using frothy milk to top the espresso. Macchiato freddo is made with cold milk instead - an easier variation commonly consumed during the hot summer months.
 
Long Black
1/3 espresso and 2/3 boiling water.
Depending on the capacity of the cup used, a double shot of espresso might be needed to maintain the correct proportions.

Affogato Affogato
Put 1 scoop of vanilla icecream directly in a cappuccino cup. Place the cup under the coffee machine spout and allow a shot of espresso to cover the icecream.
