Macchiato
This is an espresso with a dash of milk at the top.In the Italian tradition there are two variants of macchiato: "caldo" or "freddo". Macchiato caldo is obtained by using frothy milk to top the espresso. Macchiato freddo is made with cold milk instead - an easier variation commonly consumed during the hot summer months.
 
Long Black
1/3 espresso and 2/3 boiling water.Depending on the capacity of the cup used, a double shot of espresso might be needed to maintain the correct proportions.
