Mate Tea is the national drink in Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay and is very popular throughout all South America.
Mate Tea is made from the Ilex Paraguariensis plant and is sometimes referred to as the ‘new green tea’ as it is rich in vitamins, nutrients and antioxidants.

Mate Tea has a bitter, slightly smoky taste that may take some getting used to but the health benefits make it well worth the try. Mate Tea contains caffeine.
